This fractional set of 99.99% pure silver coins—five in total—is distinguished by a maple-themed design that reflects the shift from late summer into peak autumn. While four of the coins invite you to see the rich seasonal hues in your mind’s eye, the 1 oz. coin puts those colours on full display: one leaf holds onto its summer green as the other leaf transitions to yellow, orange, and red—a progression made possible by Vivid Toning Effect, which produces intense colours with a foil-like finish. On all five coins, the reverse design by Canadian artist Nathalie Lagacé features a pair of sugar maple (Acer saccharinum) leaves in early fall, their lobes gently overlapping in the centre, and their stems crossing below. The leaves’ late summer/early fall colours are brought to life on the 1 oz. coin through the use of Vivid Toning Effect, an innovative colour technology introduced in 2026. Each obverse features the effigy of His Majesty King Charles III by Canadian artist Steven Rosati.
