The Mint is hiring a Senior Program Manager, Program Management Office (PMO) who can thrive in a dynamic and inclusive environment.
Reporting to the Director, PMO, the Senior Program Manager, PMO is responsible for successful project, program management and change management within the PMO at the Mint by working closely with partners throughout the organization to execute and deliver on projects using best practices and PMO standards. This role will be accountable for the development and delivery of complex plans and processes to deliver on priority work with multi-faceted business objectives. The role will optimize and influence the coordination of project resources to ensure that work objectives are consistently met and that the work can achieve operational/organizational excellence. The incumbent will provide professional services at a senior working level and contribute to providing advice and functional direction on matters in project management and change management.
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide project and program management services for specific complex projects, tasks, or initiatives.
- Work with other senior management of PMO to contribute to building stronger standards within the RCM for project management and change management.
- Ensure excellent communication and relationships exist between PMO and business partners throughout the organization.
- Strategize on methodologies and approaches to use for specific complex projects, tasks or initiatives.
- Support growth and strengthening of PMO standards, toolkit, communications and tactical execution.
- Provide expert advice to PMO colleagues on organizational culture and insight on business functionality to better execute projects.
This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring on-site presence at our Winnipeg location three to five days per week, depending on meeting requirements and other activities.

Qualifications:
Languages Requirements:
Proficiency in English is essential. Proficiency in Mandarin is considered an asset.
Education & Designation:
- University degree in related area.
- Must hold valid PMP certification
- Prosci certification preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of related business experience.
Additional Qualifications:
- Must have experience in manufacturing and technology projects.
- Knowledge of project management best practices, methodologies, and tactics.
- Knowledge of change management best practices, methodologies and tactics.
- Proficient in MS Project, Azure DevOps, MS Office Suite.
- Skilled presentation skills, in both development of materials and presenting to senior leaders.
- Ability to leverage organizational values, objectives and culture to strategize towards project success.
