Making History
With a rich history dating back to 1908 and an even brighter future, we are internationally recognized as one of the largest and most versatile mints in the world.
We create circulation and commemorative coins that celebrate Canadian history, heritage and diversity, and manufacture foreign circulation coins for countries around the world. We do all of this thanks to our highly skilled and broadly talented employees.

Located in the heart of Ottawa along the banks of the Ottawa river, our headquarters occupies the same historic building where it was founded in 1908.

Winnipeg
Established in 1976 as a high‑tech, high‑volume manufacturing facility, every single Canadian circulation coin is produced here, as well as circulation coins for countries around the world.
